The Post-Thanksgiving Reset
November 30, 2020

I hope you had a great Thanksgiving holiday, ate a lot of good food, and were able to spend time connecting with your family and friends.

Today is a perfect day to get back on track with your eating and exercise if you ate a little more than you wanted or you didn’t get your workout in.

Here are some ways to do that:

  • Plan out your meals this week and include plenty of veggies, lean protein, fruit, and healthy fats
  • Keep a food log or journal
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Limit sweets and processed foods
  • Get up and move! Go do an activity you enjoy
  • Remind yourself how much progress you’ve already made!
  • Don’t let a day (or several days) of indulging become a habit
  • Don’t step on the scale until next week. Give yourself time to resume healthy habits.

But getting back to basics, you’ll give your body the fighting chance it needs to reset and get back on track. 🦋
