For February, I’m going to be focusing on my favorite muscle group.  That would be the butt muscles, also known as the glutes!

Now, you might be reading this with a smirk on your face saying, “Of course she likes the butt muscles!” And you’d be totally justified.  After all, when I played in my family’s fantasy football league a few years ago, my team was called “Tight End Central.”

But since I began studying human anatomy and muscle groups as part of my training, my fondness for the glutes has only increased. It’s an amazing and important group of muscles, and – unfortunately – they’re terribly underused by most people.

Because of that, I’ll be sharing with you some fun facts about the glutes this month.  I’ll also show you some ways to help strengthen your glute muscles.

If you’re someone that sits a lot, especially at work, this is your wake-up call! It’s time to get up off your butt (literally!) and get moving!
