Getting Back on Track

I may have said that this weekend. After several days of indulging in some great tasting food, I feel like the Blueberry girl from Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
But I’m not going to feel guilty for what I ate. Instead, I’m going to get back on track this week. For me this means eating a lot of protein and veggies, limiting sugar and returning to my exercise classes.
If you have done what I have, don’t be hard on yourself. Start fresh on Monday. Eat more nutritious foods and get some exercise – shoveling and playing in the snow counts! The holidays are only a little blip on the screen and shouldn’t derail you from pursuing a healthy lifestyle.
