I know what it’s like to feel stuck. To wake up each day exhausted, overwhelmed, and unsure of how to make time for yourself in the middle of life’s demands. There was a time when I felt invisible always putting everyone else first and leaving nothing for myself. I avoided photos, doubted my abilities, and longed for the confidence to take control of my health and happiness. If any of this feels familiar, you’re not alone, and I’ve been there, too.
My Journey to Transformation
For years, I felt like I was living in the shadows of my own life. Growing up, I struggled with feeling overweight and unsure of myself, but it wasn’t until my 40s that I hit my lowest point. I was at my heaviest weight, constantly sick, and overwhelmed by the exhaustion that came from trying to do everything for everyone else. I wanted to be the mom my kids deserved, but I could barely make it through the day, let alone prioritize my health. Emotionally, I felt stuck in a cycle of anxiety and self doubt, hiding in family photos and trying to shrink into the background. One day, I realized I couldn’t keep living like that. I forced myself to step out of my comfort zone and sign up for a beginner exercise class at the local YMCA. It was terrifying—I worried I wouldn’t fit in, that I wasn’t strong enough and would embarrass myself. But slowly, week by week, I started to feel different. Progress came in small moments: lifting a little heavier, moving with less hesitation, and feeling a spark of energy I hadn’t known in years.
Finding My Purpose
As I continued to grow stronger, both physically and mentally, something changed. I wasn’t just showing up for myself anymore—I was showing my kids, family, and friends that it was possible to break the cycle. I began to see the ripple effect that prioritizing my health had on my life, and I realized I wanted to help others feel this same transformation. When my youngest child left for college, I decided it was time to embrace a new chapter. With a lot of encouragement (and a little self-doubt), I took the leap to become a personal trainer. Over the years, I’ve seen firsthand how struggles with mobility, energy, and confidence can hold people back, especially as we get older. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to help women over 50 rediscover their strength, energy, and independence so they can enjoy all the incredible moments life has to offer.

What is your "Why"?
My “Why” is to do everything I can to care for myself, so I don’t miss out on life’s incredible moments. I want to experience it all, the big and little things. I want to be able to run around with my nieces and nephews and feel confident in my body to try new things. I also want to be able to do everyday movement like being able to get on and off the floor easily. I also want my kids to know that I did everything I could to care for myself and to set a good example for them. I’d like them to see that just because you’re over 50 doesn’t mean you aren’t capable of doing some amazing things!
